Vasko Popa of Yugoslavia was one of eastern Europe’s most important poets. Born in 1922, he died early in 1991. His translator, Charles Simic, is a distinguished American poet.

Diane Keating of Canada is the author of three books of poetry: In Dark Places, No Birds Or Flowers, and The Optic Heart as well as a novel, Salem Letters.

GUY MALET DE CARTERET – Rainy Day
