Alexandre L. Amprimoz of Canada writes in both English and French. He is the author of more than twenty books of poetry and prose in both languages, including most recently Bouquet de Signes.

DON MCKAY – Three Poems

Don McKay of Canada has published many books of poetry, and these poems are from his book Sanding Down This Rocking Chair On A Windy Night.

Eric McCormack of Canada’s first book of short stories was, Inspecting The Vaults.

Robert Marteau of Canada is a poet and novelist. His works include Atlante, Treatise On White And Tincture, Interlude, and Mont Royal.

JACQUES WERUP – Seven Poems

Jacques Werup of Sweden has published several volumes of poetry, including Selected Poems. He has also published many novels, one of which, Latter-Day Travels of Casanova, won a major Swedish award. The poems here are from The Time in Malmö on the Earth.

Miele Bevelander of Canada is a painter who exhibits with the Bau-Xi gallery in Toronto.

Sharon Drache of Canada has published a collection of short stories, Mikveh Man.

ROLAND GIGUÈRE – Rose and Thorn

Roland Giguère of Canada is one of the most important poets from Québec. His works include L’Age de la Parole and Forêt Vierge Folle. Exile Editions will publish a translation of his work in 1988.

MICHAEL HULSE – Two Poems

Michael Hulse of England has published collections of poems, including: Knowing and Forgetting and Propaganda and a translation of Goethe’s Werther.

MARY MEIGS – The Box Closet

Mary Meigs of Canada is the author of two books of memoirs: Lily Briscoe: A Self-Portrait and The Medusa Head.

MILTON ACORN – Two Poems

Milton Acorn of Canada was a distinctive voice in Canadian poetry. Dig Up My Heart: Selected Poems 1952-83 is the most substantial collection of his works. The two poems here are from work uncollected at his death.

CLAIRE DÉ – It Would Be Night

Claire Dé of Canada is a fiction writer from Québéc whose stories have appeared in several journals.
